Q. What news are we spreading?

A. The “good news”.

Q. What makes this “news” so “good”?

A. Let me give you 5 reasons.

1. We are all sinners. Me. You. And everyone else.

i. (Start from) What is perfection. What is truth. What is the bible. Who/what is God/Jesus?

2. God loves us, and has chosen us, from before we were created to pursue us into reconciliation with His will, remove our sin, and ultimately restore us to all His glory.

ii. What does it mean to be chosen rather than choosing?

3. Not everyone spends eternity with God.

iii. The path is narrow. What does this distinction mean for us (across all history)? For God, in terms of who He is?

4. Our God is a persistent God. He will NOT cease, until he has all those he has chosen back with him.

iv. Furious grace + Steadfast love + sovereign God = God never fails. None of His desires go unfulfilled. There is always hope.

5. Christian (or not!) for LIFE.

v. Assurance, assurance, assurance. We know the outcome. But yet we fight. Because it is in us, and a part of us. No one can defeat God’s will. This is an extremely beautiful thing.
